Dr. Webb was most recently Senior Medical Director in Infectious Diseases Global Marketing at Bristol-Myers Squibb, working on the strategy and development of the anti-infective portfolio where he led planning for gatifloxacin, garenoxacin, and ravuconazole. Prior to BMS, he was Director, Anti-Infectives at Pfizer where he was involved in the development of ampicillin-sulbactam, carbenicillin, cefoperazone, fluconazole, azithromycin, and trovafloxacin. Previously, Dr. Webb was Director, Scientific Relations at Miles Pharmaceuticals and also served in the public health service at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as both a research microbiologist and supervisory microbiologist. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from Emory University and his master's and doctoral degrees in microbiology from the University of Georgia.
